Cisco 3850 install mode

We have four 3850s that should be stacked and all were version 03.07.05E model WS_C3850-48P

When I tried to stack them switch 2 and switch 3 were showing V mismatch and switch 4 was showing a license mismatch

We changed switch 4 to just use ipbase and I did the following to change the switches to install mode

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsYE-ZXtHO4

When I reloaded the switches they were showing version 16.x instead of 03.07.05E, but they're now in install mode

is this normal?

@nicholaspashia Ideally when you change Mode (Bundle to Install) it won't change version.

Most probably the case here is switch 2 or 3 has version 16.x (as it's showing version mismatch before reboot) and you have extract new version (16.x) bin file and installed it. after reboot it's showing as version 16.x and mode=Install. if you have any further queries, Could you share "show version" and "show switch" output for further analysis ?
