Cisco 4507R Line Card swap question

Hello,

In our LAN we had two 4507R's, we removed 1 and currently have 1 in production.
Both units should have the following specs:
Catalyst 4500 L3 Switch Software (cat4500-IPBASE-M), Version 12.2(37)SG1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)
MPC8245 CPU at 266Mhz, Supervisor II+

The 4507 in use has the following modules:
1 2 Supervisor II+ 1000BaseX (GBIC) WS-X4013+
2 2 Supervisor II+ 1000BaseX (GBIC) WS-X4013+
3 48 10/100/1000BaseT (RJ45)V, Cisco/IEEE WS-X4548-GB-RJ45V
4 48 10/100/1000BaseT (RJ45)V, Cisco/IEEE WS-X4548-GB-RJ45V
5 48 10/100/1000BaseT (RJ45)V, Cisco/IEEE WS-X4548-GB-RJ45V
6 48 10/100/1000BaseT (RJ45)V, Cisco/IEEE WS-X4548-GB-RJ45V

I need to boot up the other but i believe it is identical except the 3-6 line cards are: WS-X4548-GB-RJ45 (non poe)

Can i take one of the WS-X4548-GB-RJ45 from the offline 4507 and insert it into the 4507 in use? Assuming i can do this while it is powered on but what about the existing config of the line card?

thank you

 - No problem, to do that ,attach a  console , follow up on messages when the module is inserted, new ports will have a default configuration.

Thank you.

Assuming i attach the console cable to the active supervisor?

Do i need to be in EXEC mode to answer messages?

Yes, there won't be any messages to answer, just follow up on what is reported , on worst case a module might for instance report self-test errors , not expected though.

When you insert the module into the chassis, it will go through a diagnostic check to make sure the module is working and compatible, which it should be. Once the diagnostic is completed, check with "show module" to make sure it is installed correctly and it is functioning as the other modules. You would have to configure the ports manually,

There are no issues with having a mix/match of POE and NON POE blades in same chassis?

No, as long as you have the proper power supplies, you are fine.

Ok dug out the old 4507 and these were POE blades as well. was wanting one without POE because the current ones are causing goofy issues overriding downstream power injector. I think i got that figured out by power inline never and then connecting/powering up the injector. Any other sequence, the 3802 AP would only see 15.4w from the blade.

But my other issue is my 4507 is showing a faulty supervisor:

Can i just take a WS-X4013+ from the old/spare 4507 and replace the faulty supervisor here? Same model, OS etc, etc.
