Hi Community

I will like to know how many SFP port (for fibre interface) the 500 series are supported.

Is it possible to use the stackports, if these are not used for stacking. From the documentation it can´t interpret

We need 4xSFP on each switch.

Hello Steenbroberg,

in the second document that you have provided it says: (pag. 10)

Non-Stacking standalone option:

• Ports XG3/S1 and XG4/S2 available as standard network ports

– Speed—1G or 10G

• Port S1, S2 and 5G are not available

• Ports XG1 and XG2 are available as standard network ports

– Speed—1G or 10G

So it looks like that in standalone mode you have four ports available XG1 - XG4

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Hello Giuseppe

Fine, but are they all four SFP, so its possible to use fibreinterface.

Some of these ports are fixed 1G-T (CU/RJ45)
