Active crashed three times, disabling auto-boot and dropping to rommon

What you're witnessing is what some of us like to call a boot-crash-loop.  Try this:

1.  If the chassis has other line cards, except the supervisor card, eject them all.  Reboot the chassis with the other line cards eject.

2.  If the supervisor card still goes into a boot-crash-loop, then go into ROMmon, copy and load a different IOS.

Give these two options a try.

Thanks for sharing your input.

Option 1 tried but then too issue cont.

Let me try to Option 2. In meanwhile can you please share process for loading a different iOS on Supervisor. ??

Hi

I've tried to boot system from stored other boot image & it started boot sucessfully. Can you please how to change boot system to path in auto boot

Can you please how to change boot system to path in auto boot

You mean change the boot variable string so the chassis can boot the specified image?  See below:

config t
no boot system flash bootflash:old_ios.bin
boot system flash bootflash:new_ios.bin
end
wr

And don't forget to change the config-registry value back to 0x2102.
