hi all,
i want to make a switchport back to access from a fabric extender
i have done the command -
default int eth9/13
int eth9/13
switchport mode access
switchport access vlan 110
no shut
but its still showing up as a FEX port, how can i change this please

EDIT - i have a feeling there actually different connectors?

Yes, if you take the SFP out, you should see the word FET somewhere on it.

What are using to connect this interface? Are you using a FET (Fabric Extender Transceiver) or a standard optic.
If you are using a FET that is the reason you see the port type is "Fabric Exte"

ohhhh is that the reason why as fabric and 10gig module sfps are totally different?
i cant actually get the module out to look as its stuck
