Can anyone pls provide me a basic overview of cisco 7200 VXR router. such as how much module does it have ?

That depends on the model, e.g. 7204 vs. 7206, and also what processing or service engine is loaded in it. (The later NPEs and NSE allow the I/O module slot to be left empty or used for other slot specific modules.)

If I remember correctly, the 7200 VXR supports one gig bus to the module slots on the left side of the chassis and another one gig bus to the module slots on the right side of the chassis. Because of this design, there are capacity limits on how the modules slots are populated. The 7204 has 4 SPA slots, the 7206 has 6 SPA slots.
