Product Migration Options
Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco 7606-S chassis as a replacement for the Cisco 7604 chassis. For the SIP-200 card, the 7600 inbox migration option is the Cisco 7600 Series SIP-400 card. In the longer run, customers are advised to migrate to the Cisco ASR 9000 Series platform for high-bandwidth, feature-rich deployments. The Cisco ASR 903 Router offers an economical TDM-to-Ethernet deployment option. The ASR 903 can be used in low-bandwidth preaggregation roles as a migration option for the SIP-200.For the 7604 Supervisor 2T bundles, customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco Catalyst 6807-XL or Cisco Catalyst 6504-E Supervisor 2T bundles as a replacement.
