Cisco Catalyst 3560 Port security

I have configured Port security in 3560 switch it is working fine only the issue I am facing is 

once I change IP address of that Host the switch Port go shutdown

since I have configured port security I believe I am changing the IP Address not the host or LAN card

hence the MAC  address is the same the switch port should not tern down.

port config

Interface FastEthernet0/23
switchport access vlan 201
switchport mode access
switchport port-security
switchport port-security mac-address sticky
switchport port-security mac-address sticky 001d.7d26.1296 vlan access

Please help me on this

Hi,

When the interface goes down can you see anything in the logging?

Can you test this again and run the following on the switch:

#sh logg

#sh interface | i proto

#sh port-security interface

Also from the switch can you run:

#sh version

#sh runn

Finally for this host how do you change the IP address and trigger the issue?
