cisco catalyst 3650-24ps-l flash: does not exist anymore

Hello everyone,

this is the first time I participate here,I have a problem on my switch (3650-24ps-l ).the switch is in  rommon mode(switch:)

I tried to repair it by implementing a new image, but I have the following problem:

the flash: does not exist anymore

I tried the emergency-install but I have the following problem

switch: emergency-install usbflash0:/cat3k_caa-universalk9.SPA.03.06.06.E.152-2.E6.bin
The bootflash will be erased during install operation, continue (y/n)?y
Starting emergency recovery (usbflash0:/cat3k_caa-universalk9.SPA.03.06.06.E.152-2.E6.bin)...

Cannot access recovery file (sda9:cat3k_caa-recovery.bin and sda9:c3850-recovery.bin)
Call Cisco Systems Technical Support
usage: emergency-install url://<url>

Hi Amanar

Could you try the recovery using an external TFTP server. A similar post was created a few days ago. I hope this helps.

no it can not work because I think the ports are disabled ping can not succeed(if I connect my switch to the PC the port light does not come on)

Wait a second ... You're trying to boot 3.6.X. Was this switch shipped with 16.X.X and you're trying to downgrade to 3.6.X?

Try doing an emergency-install but use 3.7.X.
Let us know how you go.
NOTE: IF the switch boots in 3.7.X then this is could be CSCva22409.

Copy the BIN file into the flash and then run the emergency-install from the switch's flash.

I can not because the flash no longer exists. as if it has been removed.
