Hi there,
What exact model 3650 are you using?
Have you checked that the stacking blanking plates have been removed?
You can chain your 3650 together using SFPs but from an end device point of view, they are logically seperate devices resulting in STP blocked links.
cheers,
Seb.

hi,
you can't use SFP to stack 3650 switches.
you'll need the stacking cable and module inserted behind the 3650.

Not sure if I understand when you say "horizontal stacking".
The switch comes with 2 stacking ports in the back. So, you need one or 2 stacking cables to connect the switch to another one.

Horizontal stacking not possible.
(Only the 3850-48XS and 3560CX support Horizontal Stacking.)
Switch Clustering (aka Single IP Management) will depend on the version of IOS the 3560 is running on.
Catalyst 1000 support Single IP Management (which is another marketing word for Switch Clustering).
