Hi,

I have a Cisco Catalyst 4507R+E and 4510R+E Chassis and this device is currently installed with 2 superv.

My question is, how can I determine the best IOS versions for the device and also where can I download it from?

Thanks in advance,

Omni

Define "best".  I.e best at what?

If you have a valid support contract, you can download software from Cisco's main site (http://software.cisco.com/download/navigator.html?i=!mmd).

If you mean by "bug-free", then I hate to disappoint you but there is no utopian "bug-free" version.  All IOS are man-made.

You'll need to either go to the Feature Navigator to deteremine which is best for you, read the Release Notes, or raise a TAC Case and get TAC to make the recommendation for you.

Without knowing what you have in your network, no one is irresponsible enough to give you a straight answer.
