Cisco catalyst 6509 with sup-720 with PFC3B *** System received a Software forced crash ***

Dear all 

I am facing a problem with the Cisco catalyst 6509 with sup-720 with PFC3B. The switch restarts continuously the error code recived is

 *** System received a Software forced crash ***
signal= 0x17, code= 0x24, context= 0x447f8584
PC = 0x401984f4, Cause = 0x3820, Status Reg = 0x34008002

Please help me resolving this issue.

Hi you need to collect the crash output from your flash , capture a current show tech and log it with Cisco TAC , they have the tools that are able to decipher these crashes , the standard tools available to the public will not help with these outputs

You could try upgrade the ios version if you have no TAC support but you run the risk of still hitting the problem if you do not pick a version the bug is not in
