CISCO FLASH COMPATIBILITY

I have a cisco 1841 router which presently down and with flah of 32m, s/n 16-2648-02,

And i have a cisco 3640 urgent in need of flash because of financial constraint i wish to use

The flash from the 1841 but do not know if it will be compatible with my 3640

Unfortunately, these are not compatible.  1841 uses Type I compact flash, 3640 uses Type II comact flash.

There is no physical way you can interchange a 3640 Type II flash card and a Compact Flash.
