hi ALl,
Recently customer have started reporting multiple issues;
Issue 1 : Port LED status remain orange user not experiencing any issues.
Recent changes : Enabled 802.1x on the switch
Issue 2: IP phone connected on some ports restart multiple times in a day.
This 2 issues are very latest and not able to answer customer on what might be the possible issues.
Any help/thoughts/troubleshooting that can be done.

Issue 1: Port normally remains in orange state when in blocking mode normally a redundant link connected to another switch. If it flashes orange then goes green then its going thru its Listen/Learn stage before it starts to forward frames.
so if the port is connectd to a VoIP check to see if the port is configured as: spanning-tree portfast.
Issue 2: The phones are loosing connection to the VoIP controller, could be a software issue perhaps you dont have enough licences to accomodate more phones.

Port fast is enabled on the port and there is no spanning tree issue
There are no new sites added to have an issue with phone licensing so not sure whether this should be checked
