Hello team,
I am trying to upload new image to a cisco ISR4331.
I am at the Rommon> where I put the below commands.
rommon 2 > IP_ADDRESS=10.0.0.1
rommon 3 > IP_SUBNET_MASK=255.255.255
rommon 4 > TFTP_SERVER=10.0.0.2 == my pc ip tftpser
rommon 5 > DEFAULT_GATEWAY=10.0.0.2
rommon 6 > TFTP_FILE=isr4300-universalk9.16.07.02.SPA
rommon 9 > tftpdnld
monitor: command "tftpdnld" not found
I can't understand why since I already did the same thing on the same router for a different image.
Please help.

Can you please check the tftpdnld command shows by typing help on rommon mode and if yes, please see your TFTP_FILE name, generally file ends with extension like .bin.

Hi,
So if it has flash or usb, how to I make it boot from the usb, or copy the image from the USB to nvram and boot it from there.
I alsays used tftpdnld (which is fast enough for me)
Thanks

you can use the following command instead of tftpdnld.
rommon X > boot tftp:<image_name>

Use the following command
boot tftp:filename.bin
and when your ios is loaded please do copy tftp: flash: command and then make it as default boot

boot tftp:filename.bin
This syntax is not going to work.
