I am verifying that a Cisco 891FW router running c800-universalk9-mz.SPA.155-3.M7.bin will be able to automatically communicate with the APIC-EM PNP. However this is not the case. I have verified on the release notes for APIC-EM Pnp 1.6 that 891 routers running a minimum of 15.5(3)M are supported. However in my lab while consoled into the 891FW there is no indication and any PNP communication nor does the 891 ever show up as an unclaimed device in APIC. I have all correct dhcp scope options configured. To compare, a Cisco C1111 router running IOS-XE 16.7.1 has no issues.

Hello,
I don't think the release mentioned in the notes is working. Try release 15.7(3)M...

It is running 15.7(3).M2 and what is also interesting is that both the FE Wan interface and GigWan interface show admin down when I am consoled into the router trying to verify if the PNP agent discovery is even happening
