Hello everyone, I am preparing to take the CCNA 200-125 exam soon and need help with a question on a practice exam. The question is: Under normal operations, Cisco recommends you configure switchports on which vlan? The options are A. native vlan B. default vlan C. management vlan D. any vlan but the default vlan.
I'm somewhat confused by this because all switchports by default are members of vlan 1, which is the native vlan, so that wouldn't require any configuration, and it wouldn't make sense to configure all switchports to the management vlan. I'm thinking that because there are security concerns with the native/default vlan, the answer is D. any vlan but the default.
Hope my question makes sense. If anybody can shine some light on this and clear this up I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
