Cisco router 1941 security license

I have a cisco router 1941 and i have uploaded before evaluation license , now i have already bought cisco security license .I have already installed on cisco router , but the problem the router is still using  the evaluation license not the new license . Please advise to fix this problem.

Note:the problem is the router can not use the new license securityk9-npe. I need any suggestion.other issue

Are you running a universalk9_npe IOS version?

In your initial posting you appear to have IOS image  c1900-universalk9-mz.SPA.151-4.M4.bin installed.

Have you tried this with the NPE image c1900-universalk9_npe-mz.SPA.151-4.M4.bin?

Hi,

Faced a similar problem
the issue is that CISCO1941/K9 is coming with IOS with No Pay Load Encryption.
You need to upgrade the IOS before security feature is enabled.
