Got to know that Cisco's UPOE delivers 60w and can power ON samsung VDI clients over ethernet... Is it only Cisco's ILP or IEEE 802.3 af compatible ? We have a VDI client from WYSE and would like to know if we can power ON using UPOE.Also, does this line card for injecting UPOE is avialable only on 4500 E series chasis ?
regards
Vinayak.

UPOE at 60W is a Cisco pre-standard but relies on the cable checks done by 802.3at standard. WYSE clients currents don't accept a POE input. The Cisco VXC thin clients support POE input. UPOE is only available on a 4500E linecard today.
