Hi ,

What is the meaning of "Only Version -03 or later is supported" in this link

And how can i check the version of cisco SFP in cisco catalyst switch such as 4500 or 6500

Hi,

Only Version -03 or later is supported doesn't apply to the 6500 or 4500 series.

If you need 1Gig MM SFP the part number is:

GLC-SX-MM

If you need 1Gig SM SFP the part number is:

GLC-LH-SM
