Cisco STACK-T1-50CM Thumbscrews

I have a customer who is struggling with the Thumbscrews that are used to secure these cables to the routers.   I am trying to find out if there is a part number associated with them and if it is possible to purchase replacement screws.     Or if there is an off market brand any one can suggest?

Those pieces come together at the stack cables. You could also check the  guide for the hardware installation, but there isn't a section for that specific screw. It might be easier to replace the entire stack cable rather than searching for that individual screw.

StackWise Accessories

All Cisco stack cables are halogen-free. The StackWise cables of lengths 0.5 m, 1 m and 3 m supported. You can order the stacking cables from your Cisco sales representative.

  1. With a 0.5 m cable, the minimum coiled diameter is negligible and the cable cannot be physically coiled without exceeding the bending limit.

Don't worry about them:

1.  FREE to RMA the stacking cables when they are faulty.

2.  There are many stacking cables available in the gray/used markets.

3.  The new 9350 uses a different cable and is not compatible with the old stacking cable.

The screws aren’t available as a separate Cisco spare, they come only as part of the full cable assembly. The simplest fix is to open an RMA for the affected cables.
