C9300-24S-E: 24x10/100/1000 Ethernet ports (No SFP Needed); 1x1G (4 port) SFP (Fiber)-C9300-NM-4G

Hello,

 - Take a look at this link : https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-3560-x-series-switches/eos-eol-notice-c51-736139.html

Cisco will end supporting 3750 series this year, I think you should go only for 3850 series for MLS

 - Cisco will end supporting 2960 series in 2024, it advise to take a look at 9200 series (Nowaday it still ok)

 - I don't know about 9300 series but it seems great

No one, I mean NO ONE, should be "going" for the 3650/3850.

Dear Community Legend,

I bought a 3850 2-3 years ago and it still working very fine

Please explain why not.

Thanks

J.

Thank you for the heads up. I will convey this to the architect, can you check SFPs for other switches pls?

C9300-24S-E: 24x10/100/1000 Ethernet ports (No SFP Needed); 1x1G (4 port) SFP (Fiber)-C9300-NM-4G

on the uplink Module for a Longer run, i go 10GB X 8 port uplink module. ( still, support 1GB SFP, in the future you can replace easily with 10GB - if the costing same )

Also, look for UXM Model got different port speed and support mGig ports.
