Cisco Switch Retail

Not a technical question, please remove if not allowed.

Looking to purchase Cisco Switches and a router for home lab and Cisco Cert.  Does anyone sell Cisco Retail?  I have a local Micro Center in Maryland and Virginia with a limited selection.  Anyone know who has enterprise class switches (24 and 48 Port) in a retail store?

Amazon online seems to have a great selection and I see other selling older home lab equipment for study, I just want to see equipment before purchasing.

Hi,

a good place to purchase new or used Cisco products is eBay. Some vendors even offer support. The local Micro Centers are not Cisco re-sellers and buying from a regular Cisco re-sellers for lab use is too expensive. 

As for models, look for 3750x and or 3800 series. 3850s maybe still too expensive.

Ebay is good place to start for used stuff (and sometimes unused old gear)

if you starting CCNA cert, you can use Packet tracer software simulator from Net Academy.

All certifications are changing on Feb24.
