CISCO WLC2100 resetting time everytime it took reload

Hi Experts,

We have a WLC 2106. Everytime this WLC reloads due to whatever reason then the time of this is always ressting it to about it to something else than the current time. We nothing in NTP settings before that we used to have NTP server configured in this WLC but status was same.

Not sure why this is happening and how to correct it permanently? Any suggestion? I am happy to provide more information on this.

1. I agree with this. Thanks for the info.
2. Yes, it is not synchronized to any trusted NTP source. I don't understand about "sh clock" that you are referring to. Are you referring to my core switch? If yes, then I don't have "."
3. All my AP's are able to join the controller. Right now, I don't have NTP configured on WLC as core switch. But all AP's were able to join WLC when I have NTP configured as well, no issues.

Did someone configure "ntp master"?  If they did, TURN IT OFF!

For the controller, post the complete output to the command "sh sysinfo" and "sh coredump summary".

How to check if abut NTP MASTER?
Please find below "sh sysinfo" (I have removed personal info) and I don't have another command available in WLC:-

(Cisco Controller) >show sysinfo

NTP master is normally configured in routers and switches.

I already pasted info about "SH NTP CONFIG" command and this is where we can check NTP server/peer configs.
sh ntp config
ntp server 64.X.X.X
Is this you are referring to as when you say NTP Master?
