I am using Cisco Cisco WS-C2960-48PST-L  L2 switch

I am planning to Connect polycom phone VVX201 into the Cisco switch.

The polycom phone supports 802.3af 

Does Cisco WS-C2960-48PST-L supports 802.3af ?

This switch supports 802.3af (POE).

It has 370 watts. Depending on your what class your devices are, you can connect few of them.

WS-C2960-48PST-L - do support 802.3af.

Polycom phone VVX201 - guess need 15.4 - should be ok, depends on the number of phones you intend to connect to switch, make caluculation.

by issuing a command show power will give you power consumption.

Polycom VVX201 is a IEEE 802.3af Class 2 device and as such you can connect this IP Phone to all 48 ports of the WS-C2960-48PST-L box which support 802.3af dynamic negotiation.
