I was trying to configure an old cisco WS-C3548-XL switch but after connecting to console I am not getting any output on the console window. I tried restarting the switch a few time but nothin gon the screen. 1-2 times it showed a line of garbled text and thats it.
My terminal settings are also correct as recommended by cisco that is 9600-8-none-1-none. Can't take telnet as password is not assigned. I can see this switch entry on the router using sh cdp neighbour. but console is not working.
I connected the same console cable to other switch and its was working fine, so there is no issue with the console cable or console port settings.
What are my options here?
