Please suggest

Can I upgrade the IOS on switch " WS-C3650-48FQM-S " with IOS version  - Fuji-16.9.5(MD) ?

Cisco IOS

Cisco Switch ->  WS-C3650-48FQM-S

Current IOS Version ->  Everest-16.6.6

New IOS Version - >  Fuji-16.9.5(MD)

Hi there,

Yes, there is no upgrade path on that platform. 

Keep in mind that any large jump in version may incur several mircocode upgrades which will increase the duration of the first boot sequence using the higher version.

Agree with Seb.
Direct upgrade to 16.9.X is fine.

IMPORTANT:

• Please take the time to read the Release Notes.
• Upgrade using Install Mode.
