CISCO WS-C3650-48PD-S Software Upgrade from 3.06.06E to 16.09.05

Hi,

I would like to upgrade my current C3650 Switch Stack from 3.06.06E to 16.09.05 version. Since this is the first time I upgrade it in the last few years, should I experience any difficulties due to the fact that at the moment it supports the old version 3.06.06E ?

1. Read the Release Notes for 16.9.5 very, very carefully.
2. Use Install Mode.
3. From 3.X.X to 16.9.5 is a major upgrade. There will be a mandatory micro-code upgrade and this can take around 20 minutes.

No, there is no issue going straight to 16.9.5.
