Cisco WS-C3650 NTP Master configuration

I have 2 switches.

1. WS-C3650 ---> NTP Master

2.WS-C3560X ---> Client

I have configured NTP master in the WS-C3650 and set ntp server as WS-C3650 on the WS-C3560X.

The WS-C3560X NTP client is not able to synchronize from the Master.

your NTP Master is synced with:

*~172.31.253.254

Where is IP address 172.31.236.200 configured ?

Can you clarify which device master - since both 3560 it confusing here. the one you posted output from client or master ?

you need to setup at client side to get associated with Server IP.

can you post both the config, along with show ntp status

Am trying to build up a new NTP master within our network. After the implementation there will two ntp masters in the network. I will ask the clients to sync to different masters by telling the NTP servers on the clients.

The NTP source to the second master will be the existing master. Is it possible? If i do that what will be the startum value for the second Master. I have attached the diagram.
