Reboot the appliance and post the entire bootup process.  I want to see why it goes into ROMmon.

Hi Leo,

After changing the config register i have again going into the Rommon mode.

config-register = 0x2102
Autobooting using BOOT variable specified file.....

Could not find a valid file in BOOT environment varia ble.
BOOT variable can be set from IOS. To find currently set
Rom Monitor variables, please type 'set' command.

For help on choosing a boot method, type 'confreg' c ommand.
rommon 1 >

Could not find a valid file in BOOT environment variable.

The config-registry value is 0x2102.  The last octet of "02" stands for "boot the IOS image found in the boot variable string".

Because the appliance is unable to find the file stated in the boot variable string, the appliance goes into ROMmon.

Leo,

If the second paragraph is right so what would be the steps to resolve this issue.

If the second paragraph is right so what would be the steps to resolve this issue.

Change the config-registry value to 0x2101 and then load the IOS into the bootflash.  Reboot and the appliance should boot the IOS.

I have change the config-register 0x2101 to 0x2102. Switch has again into

ROMmon mode.

here is the logs of the switch

Change the config-registry value to 0x2101 and then load the IOS into the bootflash.  Reboot the appliance.

No bootable image found !

This is saying there is not valid IOS found in the bootflash.
