Hi,
We will need to get 2 x E1 aggregated to make 4M. The existing 1841 that we have has already a VWIC2-1MFT-G703 card. Is it ok to
only add another VWIC2-1MFT-G703 card or do we need to add a VWIC2-2MFT-G703 instead?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Che,
Hi,
As per the installation guide, one module can only be used. You would find all the information here
Installing Interface Cards in Cisco 1800 Series Routers (Modular)
and also see this link:
These are the following modules supported on the 1841.

Hi Sandeep,
I don't understand you.
The installation guide states:
The Cisco 1841 router has two interface card slots. Each slot can accommodate a Cisco WIC, VWIC (data only mode), or a single-wide high-speed WIC (HWIC).
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/1800/1841/hardware/installation/guide/18ic.html
Why are you saying that only one module can be used?
I don't know whether you didn't understand my question, I will refrase it:
I need 2xE1s aggregated to make 4M, our 1841 router has already a VWIC2-1MFT-G703 with 1xE1 (2M).
The question is, Will it be fine to have each E1 connected to a different VWIC2-1MFT-G703 card (two cards in total) on the CISCO1841 router? Or would I need to buy a VWIC2-2MFT-G703 instead (which has 2 ports) to connect both E1s to the same card?

Hi Che,
Sorry for confusion.
As per my knowledge: it will be fine to have each E1 connected to a different VWIC2-1MFT-G703 card (two cards in total) on the CISCO1841 router.

You can do either way, as you prefer.
Note that unless you need the circuit configured as 'unframed', you do not need the more G703 versio, the basic will work fine.

Thanks Paolo.
So I can achieve the 4M (2xE1s) by having 2 x VWIC2-1MFT-G703 and it will be totally fine, right?
