cisco2921 g0/1 udld support?

Hi guys,

Does g0/1 port (dual purpose port but set to use sfp) support udld? If yes, what's the command to enable it? I have it connected with a 3750v2 switch. On the switch I have udld enabled.

Thanks,

Difan

Hello Difan,

UDLD is a typical switch feature so I would not expect to see it supported on a router built-in interface.

It may be supported on an HWIC etherswitch module but not on the built-in ports.

On the other hand, C3750 does not support BFD that could have been an alternate solution for rapid convergence

see

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios-xml/ios/iproute_bfd/configuration/12-4t/Bidirectional_Forwarding_Detection.html

Feature navigator shows only ME3600, ME3800 and C6500 with sup720 as switches supporting BFD

FN shows only switches inclusing C3750 for UDLD feature
