Cisco2960X switch to Switch SFP+ connectivity is not coming up

I just tried to establish a fiber (MM) connection between a c2960x and a c2960x using SFP-10GBase-SR modules on both sides, but link is not coming up

Both side link not come up and while check getting

TenGigabitEthernet1/0/1 is down, line protocol is down (notconnect)

All on the same ports and modules and also different ports an modules per switch.

Any suggestions on why a connection between the c2960x and the c2960X doesn't work?

There is a bug in this version that causes the fiber ports not to come up. You may want to upgrade to 150-2a, which is the latest version and test again. Also, are you using Multimode cable as well?

BTW, usually a reboot will fix the issue, but obviously that is not a very good solution.
