Commands to assign Mac address to a SVI on interface

To make the question more clear

 pc1 in vlan 10---------------------------l3 switch----------------------------pc2  in vlan 20 

 

i want commands for assigning different mac address for SVI in vlan 10 and SVI in vlan 20

 

how will packet understand if its different mac like i explained

Hi there,

the command is:

!
int vlan xx
  mac-address aaaa.bbbb.cccc
!

...but this command has limited platform support.

 

It is worth pointing out that the switch SVIs all having the same MAC address will not cause any Layer2 issues for your two PCs in the supplied topology.
