I have a Catalyst 4506E with supervisor WS-X45-SUP6L-E.

I need add twelve SFP ports.

WS-X4712-SFP-E card is compatible with my Catalyst?

Looks lile you need sup7 to support that not sup6 for the 47xxE cards

WS-X4712-SFP-E is not compatible with WS-X45-SUP6L-E. You need at least Supervisor Engine 7.

The WS-X4624-SFP-E, which is a 24-port GE (SFP) line card, is compatible.
