I am refreshing two 3550x switches with new 3750x switches. these swicthes are in two DC and distance between these DC is more then half miles.

correntely 3550 swicthes are connected with Single mode fiber and SC connector.

Can i use 3750x with C3KX-NM-1G= module with GLC-LH-SM=  using existing SC connector ?

Thanks

Amar

Any Expert who can answer my query...

I have two 3750x switches seperated by half miles approx need to be connected via 1 Gig Fiber. I have C3Kx-NM-10g

module and GLC-LH-SM transceiver and LC type connector. Can anyone confirm will this work?

thanks,

Amar deep

Yes it will work.

you can put a 1G SFP on a 10G module according to the datasheet below:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps6406/data_sheet_c78-584733.html#wp9001845

The C3KX-NM-10G module supports either 2x 10G SFP+ (SFP-10G-SR) or 4x 1G SFPs (GLC-LH-SM)
