Connecting two catalyst 4507R switch

Need help connecting two 4507R catalyst switch using the Uplink ports. Both switches are in same building but at 2 ends and there is a fiber connection in place between those two sides.

Hello Leroy,

basically, on both ports that you are using to connect the switches, configure the following:

interface GigabitEthernet0/1

switch trunk encapsulation dot1q

switchport mode trunk

This establishes a trunk connection between the switches. Optionally, you can also configure 'udld enable' on both interfaces, to protect against partial fiber failure.
