Connexion compatibility ISR G2 2921 Router and Redundant Power Supply RPS2300

Dear all,

We have a Cisco ISR G2 2921 Router and a Redundant Power Supply RPS2300.

We wanted to connect this router to the RPS.

According to the document below in cisco.com, CAB-RPS2300 is the cable needed to connect any RPS supported devices other than Catalyst 3750-E and 3560-E Series Switches:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps7148/ps7130/prod_bulletin0900aecd805bbf09.html

"Users may order either the CAB-RPS2300-E=  compatible with Cisco Catalyst 3750-E and 3560-E Series Switches or the  CAB-RPS2300= compatible with all other network devices."

And according to the ISR G2 ordering guide below, an adapter is needed (RPS-ADPTR-2921-51, Cisco 2921/2951 RPS Adapter for use with External RPS):

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/modules/ps10598/ordering_guide_c07_557736_ps10537_Products_Data_Sheet.html

"You can order Cisco 2911, 2921, and 2951 with a power supply that is AC, PoE, or DC. ... These platforms also offer power redundancy with the use of an external RPS device (Cisco RPS 2300). A RPS adapter is needed in order to connect a Cisco 2911, 2921, or 2951 to the external RPS device."

=> So we have ordered CAB-RPS2300 and RPS-ADPTR-2921-51.

Now we have recieved the Cable CAB-RPS2300 with 22-pin connector at one end and 14 pin connector at other end.
But on the router adapter RPS-ADPTR-2921-51 and on the RPS2300, there is 22 pin Connectors, why ?!?

Is it a mistake in the Cisco document, do we have to use instead CAB-RPS2300-E ?

Please help, I can find any other document in cisco.com that explain this problem, and our end customer expect soon a solution.

Many thanks in advance for your support,
Best Regards,
Alexandre
