CP9300-48P POE issue.

've deployed 4- 9300's in two stacks.

All 4 switches are

C9300-48P  Ver 16.9.2

Stack 1: SW2- SW3 (no issues)

Stack 2: SW4- SW5 (VoIP POE issues)

The second stack of two has number of Cisco VoIP phones that will not negotiate for power (about 10). when I do a 'sh power inline' command the port shows as 'auto' and 'off'

SW4#sh power in

Module 1   Available 423.0  Used 108.8  Remaining 314.2

Module 2  Available 491.0   Used 171.1  Remaining 319.9

This site was running as it is now with 3650's for the last few years.

When I remove the network connection from the CP8945 phone and plug it into the computer I have no trouble connecting to the network.

I did a cable diagnostics and got a strange result:

This test is with the connection plugged into a Cisco CP8945 VoIP Phone (phone not powered up)

SW4#show cable-diagnostics tdr interface Gi1/0/29

Interface Speed Local pair Pair length Remote pair Pair status
--------- ----- ---------- ------------------ ----------- --------------------
Gi1/0/29 auto

Pair A 53 +/- 5 meters N/A Open
Pair B 55 +/- 5 meters N/A Open
Pair C 56 +/- 5 meters N/A Open
Pair D 54 +/- 5 meters N/A Open

This test is with same network connection plugged into a Dell PC

SW4#test cable-diagnostics tdr interface Gi1/0/29
SW4#show cable-diagnostics tdr interface Gi1/0/29

Interface Speed Local pair Pair length Remote pair Pair status
--------- ----- ---------- ------------------ ----------- --------------------
Gi1/0/29 1000M

Pair A 59 +/- 10 meters Pair B Normal
Pair B 54 +/- 10 meters Pair A Normal
Pair C 59 +/- 10 meters Pair D Normal
Pair D 52 +/- 10 meters Pair C Normal

Right now, as a workaround if I move the connection from one port in SW4 to an open port it comes up no problem.

So confused. Any ideas would be welcome!

Reboot the 2nd switch and see if it improves.
Otherwise, raise a TAC Case and see if you're hitting CSCvq25360.
