Custom NBAR

I have created a custom NBAR for my PRTG Probe traffic to be matched under my Class-map.

I did the same as what Cisco said here: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/ios-xml/ios/qos_nbar/configuration/15-mt/qos-nbar-15-mt-book/nbar-cust-protcl.html

But when I write the match protocol command, it doesn't show my custom NBAR.

Anyone know why is that?

Hi -

You should be able to manually type the protocol name you defined.  IOS doesn't dynamically add your custom name into the auto-fill feature of the CLI.

ip nbar custom myapp tcp 1234
!
class-map match-any myclass
 match protocol myapp

I put in a configuration like this about 3 weeks ago.  Works great on the router and with the NetFlow application we are using.
