Default admin password can't be changed

Greetings. I have a SF302-08, I know because it says so on the back! When I first received it and powered it on, I was surprised to see that the web interface said SRW208. But, I was able to flash it up to the latest SF302-08 software. That was about a year ago. Yesterday, I was tring to get to the web interface to check on some settings. It wouldn't respond to https, or a ping. So I went ahead and did a factory reset figuring I'd just give it a new IP and get going again. Unfortunately, after holding down the reset button for 10+ seconds and doing the factory reset, the web interface is once again saying SRW208, with boot version 1.0.1, and Firmware version 1.0.4.

I tried upgrading the firmware using Http. It just flashes back to the "Firmware Upgrade" page, with no message. If I try via TFTP, the same thing happens. I have tried using the SRW208 version 1.0.4, as well as multiple SF302-08 versions. The Flash Log shows: Alert, %TFTP-A-TftpTxERROR: An error message was sent: 0

The TFTP server shows error: Exception during StringFormat: Input string was not in a correct format

So, I decided to just live with the current version firmware. I went to Admin / User Authentication. Click on User Name: admin

Then type in a new password complete with letters and a number. Confirm it in the next box, and click the update button.

Nothing appears to happen. Then I click the "Save Settings" link at the bottom of the screen. I receive this:

Line No.Error TypeValueDiagnostic

1      null      Unknown value      Default entry. Cannot delete the entry from the table..

1      null      Unknown value      Entry already exists.

I have reset the switch a couple of times, and retried the above multiple times.

If anyone has any ideas on how I can proceed, I would appreciate it!

Thank you!
