DELL and Cisco trunking

i want to configure dell 6224 with cisco 3750.that these switch can share their vlan database.

what i have to do for this

any suggestion will be appreciated .

Hi,

In order for this to work simply trunk the two switch's. The Dell switch has the same or almost similar command lines to Cisco IOS.

if i create vlan on cisco it does not transfer to dell switch.

Do the VTP name and version number match also put the Dell in client mode.

VTP is cisco proprietary.

VTP is Cisco proprietary and therefore will not work with a Dell switch.

You will need to create the VLAN's manually on the Dell switch and ensure a Trunk port exists between it and the Cisco.
