dhcp - strange behaviour in vlan

Hello,

I have a issue with a specific laptop.When it gets plugged into  vlan x I can see port-security errors! If i remove port-security config from the port it wont get an dhcp.

If I change the port to vlan y it works straightaway with or without port-security!

Testing further, we tried other laptops and it works fine with or without port security in vlan x.

Any ideas?!?

Hi,

Is the MAC address of the device in question known in your config against another interface.

May be a static or sticky address.

show run | inc MAC.MAC.MAC

no mate, there's nothing like that!

the arp table doesnt show anything as well.
