Difference between 12.2.52.SE and 12.2.55.SE IOS image for 3750G and 3750E

Hi,

We are having the switches (3750G-48TS-S, 3750E-48PD-S, 3750E-48TD-S and 3560G-48TS) running IOS image as 12.2(52) IPBASE and they are running from last 2 years. We seen the latest recommended IOS image currently having in cisco software downloads is 12.2(55) with IPBASEK9 and IPSERVICESK9 image and we are thinking to upgrade this IOS image but before that I would like to know the difference between these IOS images. Could anyone share there knowledge and could provide me the best document to see the differences.?

Firstly, if there are no bugs you are affected by and no new features you need then you don't necessarily need to upgrade. Your IOS version is relatively recent so it should be fine. But if you still want to look into upgrading the release notes detail the new software/hardware features -
