Docking Station and ISE Authentication

Hello all,

We have a user who has his laptop connected to a dockstation, and the dockstation is connected to the switch.

Authentication on ISE happened and network was working fine on the laptop when it was first connected to the dockstation, but if the user disconnects and connects again to the dockstation, authentication starts to fail.

I saw that the port on the switch never goes down, and at all times, I can only see the MAC address of the dock.
I wonder if MAC Address Passthrough could be of any help in this case, to try to see the MAC Address of the laptop on the switch, and authenticate on ISE with it, instead of the dock address.

Did any of you had a similar issue?

Thank you in advance.

I would suggest looking at enabling passthrough mode on the laptop, the MAC address used on laptop one.
