Does anyone know how to fix the GUI on a 3750x?

Last night my local vendor upgraded the software on our 3750 to version 15.0(2) SE10a.

Fortunately, the switch is operational but the GUI is not rendering properly.

I have tried several different browsers and update Java. Still no luck.

Has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it?

Thank you.

This is a typical java thing. I would advise to downgrade Java to 7 update 51 (both x86 and x64). Let me know how it goes.

Windows x86 Offline 27.79 MB jre-7u51-windows-i586.exe

Windows x64 29.37 MB jre-7u51-windows-x64.exe

Hint: remove the current installed version before installing the new one.

Please rate if this is helpful to benefit others. Good luck!

Removed Java 8, installed Java 7/51 as suggested.

Tried again in IE11, and FF53, still same results.

Thanks.

Allow me to get on my soapbox for a minute. I have worked with Cisco products since 2013 and have always had issues with any interface that integrates java. The solution has always been to roll back java. Why can't Cisco fix this so it works on modern browsers?!? If they don't want to support a GUI just tell us. I have been slowly learning the CLI but it is nice to have the GUI as a safety net. Anyway, just discovered the Network Assistant software and it works much better for those of us that need a GUI. Why couldn't Cisco just point us in the direction of the Network Assistant? For example, when you unsuccessfully try to connect to a switch via a web browser there could be a message directing you to the Network Assistant download. Nah.. Too Easy... Not the Cisco way. Sorry for the rant but it just perplexes me how Cisco can be so needlessly difficult. Anyway here is the download link to the Network Assistant.

Installed Network assistant, what authentication, login details does it require?

Found it..!

You will need to setup a Cisco Account. It's free.
