I understand that C3850-NM-8-10G works in C9300 switches. Does this mean that C9300-NM-8X will work in C3850-12X48U?
The cost of C9300-NM-8X is 50% vs the cost of C3850-NM-8-10G.

The C9300 switch didn't exist when table 2 in that spec sheet for the 3850 was written. So, none of the 9300 compatible parts are listed. We just tested a C9300-NM-4G here and it worked fine in a 3850. Maybe the C9300-NM-8X does too?
