Wondered if SG250-08 was capable to configure protected port / switchport protected feature ?

Instructions at the link below indicates a "protected port" option in the web-based utility but there is no such option in mine.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/smb/switches/cisco-small-business-200-series-smart-switches/smb5094-configure-port-settings-to-optimize-traffic-flow-on-a-switch.html

Firmware : 2.5.0.83

Many thanks for your advice.

Hello,

I couldn't find anything mentioned in the Admin Guide about protected ports...

Check if you see any options regarding protected mode when you switch to 'Advanced Display Mode' (page 12 of the attached guide)...

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/csbss/sf_sg250/admin_guide/AG_Tesla_250.pdf

Many thanks for your reply.

I tried to switch to the Advanced Mode before but the Port Setting page mentioned in the instruction link above was the same, i.e. no Protected Port option to choose from.

I just downloaded the CLI guide for the model and it didn't mention the "switchport protected" command at all. Wondered if this model supports port isolation.

Thanks again for your help.
