Customer has asked me to send the version 12.4 of the IOS, today he is running 12.0. Does he need to buy this version or may I send it to him? If he has 11.X should he buys the new version also?

Have him buy a support contract and he will be entitled to any IOS upgrade, plus hardware warranty and TAC support.

May I send it to the customer even if he wishes to move to a new feature set of the IOS?
