dot1x syslog events

Hi

we have access swtiches: 2960-s and 2960-x.

Same settings, but due to diff platforms have diff ver IOS (c2960s-universalk9-mz.152-2.E4 and c2960x-universalk9-mz.150-2a.EX5).

So from 2960-X at syslog we have in syslog:

%AUTHMGR-5-SUCCESS:
 %DOT1X-5-SUCCESS:
%DOT1X-5-FAIL:

and so on

But at 2960-S I didt see this messages.

debug authentication events or debug dot1x events didnt a trick.

So how I can enable this messages on 2960-s?

Hi,

I think that it is more a version related "issue" (152-2.E4 vs 150-2a.EX5) than switch model one...

I didn't find any documentation explaining how to re-enable these logs in 15.2, so any hint is welcome.

i think it is indeed version related.
It seems you can get logging back with

dot1x logging verbose

authentication logging verbose

mab logging verbose

However, we also used to see the vlan assignment in the logs (lines like
%AUTHMGR-5-VLANASSIGN: VLAN xxx assigned to Interface xxx AuditSessionID yyy   )

but i haven't been able yet to get that info back in the logs, any hints about that are welcome

Hello, i have the same issue with ios 15.2 on 2960x.

impossible to reactivate this log that i have on 15.0

Same problem here!

I have many scripts that expects AUTHMGR-5-VLANASSIGN message.
